A cozy spot with easy parking, and my room was spotless! The bathroom was fab and the heat pump kept me toasty on a rainy night.

But I must say, my dreams of a magical garden party were crushed by the smell of fly spray. I’d rather wrestle a bat than face cooking in that chaotic kitchen!

The shower had excellent heat and pressure, and the self check-in process was straightforward. Also, the location was perfect for visiting the nearby Waitomo Caves.
